Hello, I am Leticia Cortez; I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown in Urban Education EC- 6 grade with a bilingual certification. I am currently a bilingual teacher in 4th grade at Aldine ISD in Houston, Texas. Things have changed since I was a student 20 years ago. The way I learned is not the same way students are currently learning, and to change that, I have decided to pursue a degree in Applied Digital Learning at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
