Aligning Outcomes, Activities, and Assessments
Another component to implement my innovation plan is Fink’s Guide to aligning outcomes and assessments. I have created a Personal Narrative Unit that develops students writing through reading. Students will make connections in reading and writing about themselves and their world. We must remember to create authentic activities and assessments; the Big Hairy Audacious Goal, BHAG, should be the students’ outcome.
