I knew building an E-portfolio would be challenging because I had never done it before. It intrigued me because the examples I saw on Dr. Harapnuik’s website are awe-inspiring, and I knew that I could also have one of my own with dedication and hard work. Many times that I got frustrated and wanted to give up. My collaborating partners, Stacie and Cristina, always had the right words to say. I googled videos on how to do things, researched out to other classmates for help, and everyone was willing to help me out. Building an E-portfolio is not an easy process, and it takes lots of research and patience to get it done the right way. I wish I would have done differently to have my blogs posted on my e-portfolio. Blogs were sitting on blackboard or a google document for too long. I can’t wait to see the final result at the end of the program.

Building an E-portfolio
Last updated on June 26, 2022
Hello I am Leticia Cortez, I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown in Urban Education EC- 6 grade with a bilingual certification. I am currently a bilingual teacher in 4th grade at Aldine ISD in Houston, Texas. Things have definitely changed since I was a student 20 years ago. The way I learned is not the same way students are currently learning and in order to change that I have decided to pursue a degree in Applied Digital Learning at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

I am not an innovator
Hey Letty! I know it was stressful, but you did a great job. I love this blog format! It’s super neat how we can go back and forth to see the rest of your posts.
Way to go in creating your first blog. I am really glad you created one and that you were able to collaborate with others for ideas. I can’t wait to see how blended learning looks in your classroom next year.
